Last weekend i went with some friends to a flea market
and among other stuff i'll post later
I bought an AMAZING! very Old- Intense/Dark book
about ITALIAN'S GRAPHIC DESIGN-

Can't tell you how passionated i am
don't understand much, but with a dictionary i'm sure i'll learn lots

First of all:!
i adore patterns and even more when they're classic and complex
like those next two i found in the book

BREATHTAKING, AH?
can't wait to add them to my designs
(so excited about this book)

Another amazing thing
is inside there's a few pages about FONTS!
a "tutorial" and some exercises!

(i'll also make them in order to design a font of my own!! ahah)

But the most exquisite pages are the ones i'll present you:

they're all about Classic Italian Art
+ some of the most mischievous/renaissance alike publicity

i adore everything about it-

And i have to say this is my favourite article from the book
i'm still translating it, but just the first work is overwhelming!

So many little details and charchters
like angels and demons and ...oh god!...

here's a zoom !

well, i have to admit i'm being so nerd about it
but it's just amazing to found great vintage books like this
and i've been a huge "design geek"
from industrial to interior to my passion: FASHION!

(btw i also studied 4 semesters of industrial design..so..
you can see why i'm so interested about this)

fur/transparent/feathers / BLACK?!
adored too!

J. Mendel + Burberry: EXPECTED!
but simply perfect
black + fur coats!: just divine for this VERY COLD WINTER!

Helmut Lang: exquisite work with proportions
colors + asymmetry!
