Well, it took me a while to choose the pictures i like the most
for this special coverage of the 10º CMB or
Bogotá Fashion Week.
but here it is!
1º The official flayer!
"Exotique Textures"
-by Pepa Pombo-
Full of textures, that's how i would describe this show.
From pleated fabrics to knit work. We saw romantic and delicate womens
full of femininity and power.

"Fearless Dandy"
-by Lina Cantillo.
Surprisingly, i almost died when i saw some of the pieces from this show.
Her work with patterns and colors has evolved very exquisitely.
We saw strong, independent and very modern mens, interested in showing us
they're not afraid of walk with shorts and completely groomed.

"New Patchwork"
-by Johanna Acuña - Arturo Tejada Cano Fashion School student
[also my college :)] // WINNER.
She's also the winner from my college, they showed only last semesters work
but since this is my last year, maybe i'll be there next time!.
Her collection was inspired by the Kaleidoscope

"Asian Oversize"
-by Sandra Cabrales.
Oh Lord! This show was amazing, but at first i was very apprehensive
because we didn't saw anything new...but then she showed us her new work
full of destructive concepts, exploration with fabrics and seamstress clothes.
Its reminds me so much of Maison Martin Margiela's early work
and Yamamoto's idea of "Homeless chic"

-by Daniela Durán - LaSalle college student // WINNER.
She's the winner of this fashion college and I have to admit
even though i'm not a big fan of that much color, it remind me of
Castelbajac and Manish Arora. Inspired by the Prisma.

"Knitted Princess"
-by Bettina Spitz.
First word that came to my mind at the show was: ADORABLE
and after hearing Bettina's interviews, it seems that was her idea behind this collection:
Real Princesses! and she accomplished that, full of textures and handmade work + digital prints
exquisite color palette and styling: we went to this magic land where any thing's possible!

"English Puritans"
-by Julieta Suárez.
This was the best way to end this fashion week! Not only the music and runway was stunning, but also the clothes! Oh lord, i died over this, Black / White , Sheer, Blue + long basic silhouettes that remind me immediately of this lost puritans dolls!
Not much to say, i'll let the pictures speaks for itself!
